What Does this MRI Scan Result Mean?

i have recently took a mri and it indicates that i have L2/3 through L4/5 disc bulges which impinge upon the thecal sac with mimimal degenerative disease. can this cause the pressure and spasm of my bladder and pain and numbness in the pelvic and anal region. i was consulted with a gi dr. negative results and my gynocolists with several tests including a pelvic sonagram. i am going through menopause and i am 56 years old. thankyou

1.There is a disc between the vertebral bodies helps as a shock absorber effect, the disc contains maximum percentage of water, due to degenerative changes when the water content / hydration is lost the disc slips / bulges.
2.At the level of L2-5 there is a disc bulge and causing pressure effect on the nerve room and spinal chord.
3.All the symptoms mentioned by you are seen in this condition.
4.The treatment is simple back exercises and physiotherapy, finally if does not help an interventional / operative is the treatment of choice - but in your case exercise will help.
